Head east on DR3 – Las Americas Highway, after about 10 KM running by the shore take the left side exit ramp that will take you an underpass, after it make a left then you are at the start of DR7 – Samaná Motorway, take a right and once on the Samaná Motorway there is a first toll within the first KM, this Highway is straight to Samaná, it can be 2 hours drive and you will pass a total of 3 tolls in this Motorway, after the end of the Motorway it turns into a regular motorway and must turn right, keep to the right and after passing the 4th and last toll turn left and when the road splits in two (Y) keep left and this is the entrance to the airport, from the beginning there are road signs conveniently placed and the Motorway is a pleasant drive, however it gets mountainous when going through National Park Los Haitises and caution should be exercised in this area.
